BLANDON, PA, January 3 – Calling all design and trade professionals: only a few weeks remain to enter the BlueStar® 2017 Kitchen Design Contest to win a full, commercial-style home kitchen suite. The contest, which is accepting entries through February 8, 2018, honors design professionals who incorporate BlueStar® products into innovative, beautiful kitchen designs.

One Grand Prize winner will receive BlueStar® appliances for his or her home kitchen valued at $15,000 retail and the title of BlueStar® Kitchen Designer of the Year. Six Regional Winners also will be named, and all designs will be featured prominently on BlueStarCooking.com. Jill Calo of Payne & Payne Builders in Moreland Hills, OH, took the top prize in last year’s competition. Her grand prize kitchen was inspired by the red color of the BlueStar® 48” gas range with a 12″ charbroiler, showing how a simple “pop” of color can completely transform a space.

All kitchen design entries must be submitted by February 8, 2018, and all submitted kitchens must have been completed no earlier than the 2015 calendar year. The kitchen design entry can be any style kitchen. A minimum of one BlueStar® kitchen appliance as the primary appliance is required. Ranges, refrigeration products, range tops, electric and gas wall ovens and gas and induction cooktops meet this requirement.
