Unique 8-Point Star-Shaped Sealed Gas Burners Offer Restaurant-Level Heat and Control with Unmatched Design Options

BLANDON, PA — January 5, 2023 — BlueStar®, manufacturer of professional-grade kitchen appliances for the home cook, announces the launch of the brand’s first line of Dual Fuel Ranges – pairing the revolutionary X8™ sealed burners with a precision electric oven.

The new line will be the first BlueStar® product to feature a totally reimagined sealed 8-point star-shaped burner, which flawlessly combines high heat with subtle simmer on every burner – the X8™. Each burner delivers full-spectrum power, performance, and the largest range of BTUs – from up to 25,000 BTUs down to 500 BTUs. The gentle, constant simmer is standard on all burners. The new X8™ burners have the expansive 8-point heat coverage of BlueStar’s iconic open burners in a modern sealed design for optimal control and easier cleaning. The sprawling 20” circumference offers even heating across any size or style of cookware, while 152 precision-control heat ports provide three times the flame distribution over any other sealed burner. Home cooks can have it all and do it all on every single burner.

The new line features oversized true convection ovens that provide even and consistent multi-rack cooking and fit commercial-size 18″ x 26″ baking sheets. Eight cook modes include Bake, Convect Bake, Roast, Convect Roast, Convect, Broil, Proof and Dehydrate, plus Sabbath mode, and a temperature probe. The oven offers an environmentally friendly 90-minute express clean cycle and ContinuClean™ technology, a gentle clean whenever the oven is on. An intuitive 7” full-color touchscreen with an ergonomic tilt-up display controls the oven, and Quick Start™ functionality allows home cooks to begin baking with three easy touches. Users can also customize the design and color of the clock display to fit their personal style. The ranges are available in both 36” and 48” sizes with an optional 12” built-in griddle on each.  

As with all BlueStar® appliances, the new Dual Fuel line is available in over 1,000+ color options, custom color matching, and 10 metal trim finishes. This unlimited customization gives designers and homeowners alike the utmost freedom of choice for a bespoke kitchen design.
