This Season’s Palette Leans into Warmth Through Five Handpicked Colors

This year’s palette aims to bring warmth to interiors, capturing the essence of the cozy elements of the season and reflecting trend predictions looking into the new year. The goal this winter is to embrace tones that feel warm and inviting, carrying us through the chill until spring returns.

The curated palette features five colors—the green, grey, and brown hues offer a grounded feel reminiscent of earthy landscapes, while the blues layer in feelings of calmness and tranquility. Together, these colors create a harmonious winter offering featuring deep hues balanced with soft, subdued colors. Brushed brass trim and accents pair beautifully with this palette, accentuating the richness of these hues and allowing the metal to shine.

Green Grey: A balanced, earthy green with grey undertones that recalls evergreen trees dusted with frost. This color adds a grounded, natural vibe to the palette, softening the colder tones and creating a calming backdrop. 

Black Green: A deep, moody green with black undertones that mirrors the winter forest at dusk or shadows cast by pine trees. This hue is excellent for adding depth and contrast, anchoring the palette with a rich, dramatic quality. 

Umbra Grey: A warm, shadowy grey that resembles bare branches and leafless trees against a winter landscape. This shade has an earthy feel, adding warmth to the palette while keeping it grounded in nature’s neutral tones.

Signal Brown: A rich, warm brown with hints of rust, recalling dried leaves, bark, and the earthy tones of winter soil. This color adds a cozy, inviting note, balancing the cool greys and blues for a well-rounded, nature-inspired palette.
