This NYC kitchen renovation project, designed by Vivian Hung of Global Home Interiors, aimed at maximizing the “WOW” factor in a limited space. Besides updating all basic elements, the project reconfigured the cabinetry placement, raised the ceiling by over 12 inches, and removed a small return wall to create a stunning transformation. Anchored by dark cabinets and backsplash tiles, special features truly pop, including the BlueStar 30” RCS Range in Jet Black that beautifully blends mixed metals—brushed brass plated knobs on a Stainless Steel backdrop and a 6” Low Profile Backguard to match. The kitchen now boasts smart organizational components, improved flow, an easily accessible microwave, and increased storage space. Complementing the BlueStar Range are smoked glass-fronted cabinets, a black sink, golden antiqued mirror, metallic wallpaper, and brass handles. The dramatic, moody atmosphere, highlighted by these features and colors, is a complete transformation from the previously bland and dull kitchen.
