Black with Gold Trim

The Mountain Lake Kitchen project, designed by Michelle Murphy, owner and principal designer of Demi Ryan is a beautiful mix of white oak, marble, and black elements that create a luxe and inviting space perfectly suited for a mountain retreat. Emphasizing functionality and beauty in a chef’s kitchen, the design incorporates a custom designed Matte Black BlueStar appliances with a striking contrasting brass accent trim—a 36″ PRO Built-In Refrigerator, a 48″ Bonanza range hood, and a 30″ Double Wall Oven. The color palette was carefully chosen to maintain a light and airy feel while reflecting the client’s affinity for the Blue Ridge Mountain views, integrating white cabinets, a white oak island, and a marble backsplash, with touches of black in the appliances and the built-in glass cabinetry and matte black Denton countertops. The final design subtly incorporates elements that nod to the client’s Texan roots, making the Mountain Lake Kitchen both a personal and picturesque space.
