We are excited to share the expansion of our color palette to now include our Matte Finish Collection, for over 1,000 color options to choose from. Now, each of our standard 190 colors will be offered in five different finish options, including new Matte, the existing gloss and three textured options, providing designers and consumers with virtually endless possibilities to create completely customizable spaces.
All of these finishes are available on our freestanding ranges, wall ovens, built-in refrigerators and ventilation hoods.
Designers consistently want more ways to differentiate their work and stand out in a crowded marketplace. We expanded the Matte Finish Collection with this in mind, and are delighted to offer designers and home chefs greater creative freedom, in addition to great performance.
As part of the 1,000 color options, BlueStar® worked with acclaimed Interior Designer Eric Cohler to identify today’s top color trends in Matte, because, according to Cohler, in addition to the color of the appliance, the finish can be just as crucial in setting the tone for a kitchen space. “When the Matte finish is applied to some of these trending hues, it softens the color to a more natural, low-tech look, so that the water blues and salmon pinks are even more calming and quiet. A smooth, velvety matte surface provides a rich, warm tone that is soft on the eyes and forgiving on fingerprints,” said Cohler.

Light Green (RAL 6027)
Gender-neutral, this green mint blends hi-tech with nature. It is bold and energetic and aims to bring the colors of the outside indoors, with a satisfying and rejuvenating sense of living well.
Daffodil Yellow (RAL 1007)
A grown-up yellow, this enhanced neutral is simultaneously demure and bold. It can stand out with a comfortable elegance all its own, or accent architectural elements and accessories in the kitchen space.
Capri Blue (RAL 5019):
Blue has matured from a basic fashion color to a dependable neutral in kitchen design, beautifying anything from cabinets to appliances. This latest evolution is a crisp, cool take on cobalt, with an affinity to sea and sky.
Salmon Pink (RAL 3022):
Pretty in Pink is still true, as this calming, sweet shade is subtle enough to act as a neutral or as a statement piece.
Water Blue (RAL 5021):
This soothing water color suggests mindfulness and the spirit of hopefulness. Coastal inspired colors, according to the color experts, will continue to be hot for several years, well beyond 2020.
