Some like it hot. About 22,000 BTUs hot. That's what the makers of BlueStar freestanding ranges and cooktops believe gives them the edge in high-end appliances for big-time entertainers.

The 22,000 BTU burner found in the company's RNB line is the highest power burner on the market and makes for efficient cooking. Homeowners who want to channel their inner Emeril can tone it down to a 130-degree simmer for lighter cooking. For the sake of comparison, your basic home gas stove delivers up to 8,000 BTUs.
Designers will like the wide range of ranges, which go from 24" to 60", the large number of configurations (including grill and griddle options) and colors (190 at last count, for the same price as stainless). Want to match the stove with the drapes or tile? BlueStar can do that.
