In terms of appliances, in 2010, we're still seeing significant demand for our traditional top-sellers, such as Jet Black and Ruby Red. Since we introduced our 190 color options in 2006, BlueStar's top two or three sellers have not wavered significantly. However, after that first group of black and red, we start to see some variation from year to year. Already this year we're seeing strong demand for lighter neutral colors. In particular, our line of whites, including our Signal White, Traffic White and Pure White, are trending up. We believe it's partly due to the growth of the stainless-steel look at the mid-market level over the past several years. Over the last 20 to 25 years, white appliances had become synonymous with the low- to mid-end market. But now that stainless steel is becoming more commonplace in that market, and can be found in most big box stores, there seems to be a return to white at the high end. Consumers are realizing that white and other lighter colors are clean, fresh and neutral enough to blend well with almost any kitchen decor.
As for the colors that consumers want, people are amazed when we tell them that almost all of our 190 color variations sell every month. Every day, we roll out variations of blacks, reds, blues and whites, but we also have pinks, purples and bright yellows coming off the line. What we're finding is that the kitchen is increasingly becoming a focal point of the home. Families are gathering in the kitchen, not only to cook, but also to talk, read and surf the web. As a result, consumers are spending more time selecting appliances that not only perform well, but also allow them to express themselves in a unique way. In fact, I'm looking at today's orders and we received one for a six-burner range in Pastel Tortoise. It's actually a beautiful color.
